Ray initially trained as a microbiology/veterinary laboratory technician with a large poultry group of companies finishing as laboratory senior in the veterinary department before progressing into sales.
Ray’s sales career developed through a number of territory sales positions and into product specialist roles both in blood transfusion and food microbiology and ultimately into sales management and setting up and managing a subsidiary business in the food diagnostic sector.
In 2002 he teamed up with Alastair to launch RayAl Ltd.
